About the consultancy
Grounded Site Solutions is an independent environmental consultancy operating across Queensland and New South Wales. The practice covers contaminated land management and asbestos management, including site investigations, remediation compliance, hazmat surveys, clearances, air monitoring and stakeholder coordination.
The consultancy is led by Nicholas Jones, a Licensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA) recognised in both NSW and QLD, and a Full Member of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ). Nicholas has seven years of consulting experience across mid-tier consultancies, a Tier-1 firm and an EPA-audited remediation specialist.
Background
That work has covered the full lifecycle of contaminated land projects: preliminary and detailed site investigations, Remedial Action Plans, remediation oversight, validation and clearance reporting. Recent project experience includes site supervision on a large-scale PFAS remediation at a Commonwealth defence asset, and owner-side delivery of remediation projects under NSW EPA accredited site auditor oversight.
Asbestos work has spanned Hazardous Materials Surveys, asbestos management plans, removal control planning, contractor oversight, air monitoring and Class A clearance certification across NSW and QLD.
